Brewer’s Blurb:
Daredevil is the beer that keeps giving. What begins as the taste of subtle hoppy flavours gives way to a luscious malt body, hints of fruity toffee apples, then a long complex finish that inspires another mouthful to experience the full range of flavours all over again. A favourite amongst our brewing team, some of whom insist it’s not just because there’s a picture of The Founder on the label.

Michael’s Notes:
I was still deciding whether I liked red IPA's, and although this one was good, it was a little too syrupy for my tastes. I used to drink Rousses all the time, but for some reason it's not as enjoyable in an IPA.

You may notice a bar of chocolate in the photo (two, actually). We were on a chocolate bar kick while in New Zealand, and we always had a bar available as a late night snack. We always went for Whittakers, and my favourite was Hokey Pokey, which had these rice-crispy crunchy bits within. I'm not one for pairings, but having a bite of chocolate with my beer was not an uncommon sight during our trip!
